Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Mundi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matias Salminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salminen has chosen Down With the Sickness as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salminen misses with a straight left.
Salminen misses the jab.
Salminen shoots in but Mundi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Salminen throws a hook but Mundi avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mundi wants to clinch up but Salminen keeps it at a distance.

Mundi pushes Salminen up against the cage in a clinch.
Mundi misses with a body punch.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Salminen.
Salminen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mundi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Salminen has had enough of the clinch but Mundi keeps him there for the moment.
Mundi makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Mundi misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mundi works on Salminen's body with a couple of short punches.
Salminen looks winded!
Mundi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

It looks like Matias Salminen has been cut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Salminen.
Salminen is trying to break the clinch but Mundi has him pressed against the cage.
Mundi lands with a left to the head.
Mundi pushes Salminen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Mundi scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mundi.
Mundi works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mundi lands with a short shot to the head.

Mundi drops Salminen onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Salminen is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Salminen is rocked!
Mundi pushes Salminen back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mundi creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Salminen's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Salminen drops to his knees and Mundi pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
