Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Doyle Norris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, William Fallen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fallen is out of range and Norris settles back down.
Fallen scores with a kick to the body.

Norris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fallen to the mat! Fallen manages to get full guard.
Norris wants to stand and escape but instead Fallen has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Norris looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fallen wanted to stand there but Norris had control of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Norris tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Fallen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Fallen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Norris is looking to escape.
Fallen prevents Norris from getting the reversal.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Norris is working hard here to advance position.
Fallen wants to control the pace but Norris is squirming around nicely.
Norris bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Norris lands a couple of digs.
Norris wants to stand but Fallen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Norris drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fallen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fallen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fallen!

Norris is looking for a sweep.
Fallen tries to stand but Norris is controlling his head.
Norris is looking to regain half guard here but Fallen keeps moving and retains side control.

Fallen wants to stand but Norris is controlling his arm.
Norris could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Norris is trying to work for a sweep but Fallen has mounted him!

Fallen stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

William Fallen dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Norris takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Norris gets the takedown into side control.

Norris decides to stand back up. Norris steps back and let's Fallen get back to his feet.
Norris has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Fallen lands with a nice body kick.
William Fallen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fallen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fallen pushes Norris away with a front kick.
Norris takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Doyle Norris has been cut.
Fallen throws a low kick, looking for Norris's leg but Norris calmly moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Norris throws a head kick that misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fallen.
Fallen lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Fallen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Fallen cracks Norris with an open hand slap.


Norris is rocked!
Fallen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Oh Norris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Fallen moves into range and clinches up with Norris.
Norris seems to have got his legs back now.
Fallen connects with a knee to the head.
Fallen scores with a knee to the head.
Norris tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fallen pushes Norris back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fallen lands an elbow just above Norris 's eye.
A short uppercut from Fallen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fallen pushes Norris back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Fallen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fallen closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Norris out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). William Fallen!
