Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Porfirio Stanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skhu Dan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan has chosen NEVER SAY NEVER as his entrance music. Skhu Dan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stanton was covering up waiting for the punch and Dan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Stanton has Dan pulled in close to control his posture.
Stanton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dan's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Stanton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stanton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Dan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Stanton presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Stanton is working for a guillotine from mount but Dan frees his head quite easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stanton scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Stanton goes for an armbar but Dan turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Dan.

Stanton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Stanton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close second round but I would say that Porfirio Stanton will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Stanton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Stanton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stanton drops back looking for a leg! Dan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dan manages to kick Stanton off! Stanton jumps back into Dan's guard.

Dan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Stanton drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stanton jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stanton wants to stand and escape but instead Dan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
