The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne throws a lazy head kick
letting Fukuda counter with a right hand.

Bourne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Fukuda has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bourne is on him like a limpet, forcing Fukuda back against the cage.
Fukuda lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

It looks like Jason Bourne has been cut.
Bourne blocks an elbow strike.
Bourne managing to block the knees to the body from Fukuda.
Bourne working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee calls for Fukuda to work.
Fukuda just leaning against Bourne, taking a breather.
Fukuda throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bourne blocks it with crossed arms.
A right hook to the body lands for Fukuda.

With the fighters up against the cage, Fukuda throws an elbow but misses.
Bourne avoids the elbow strike from Fukuda, against the cage.
Fukuda unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bourne lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Fukuda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fukuda throws a big shot that misses.
Bourne misses with a head kick.
A combination from Fukuda does no damage.
Bourne takes a kick to the side of the head.
Bourne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fukuda paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tatsuzo Fukuda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bourne looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fukuda paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bourne will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bourne looks to clinch
and Fukuda counters with a nice body shot.

Bourne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fukuda pinned against the cage. Fukuda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fukuda is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Fukuda rushes Bourne and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bourne has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fukuda avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bourne darts in looking for a takedown but Fukuda gets double underhooks and turns Bourne into the cage.
Bourne shoots in but no luck this time.
Bourne throws a hook to the side of Fukuda's head but Fukuda sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fukuda looks to land a combination but Bourne avoids it well.
Bourne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fukuda sprawls well. Fukuda wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bourne gets slowly back to his feet.

Fukuda throws a series of strikes that have Bourne backpedaling.

Bourne is rocked!
Fukuda fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bourne to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bourne looks to clinch but Fukuda throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bourne taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
