Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey McFinnigan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fullsize Mirror!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirror buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McFinnigan has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Get Ripped or Die Mirin in the buildup to the fight.
McFinnigan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mirror loads up on a big right hand but McFinnigan slips the punch.
McFinnigan lands with a shot to the body.
Mirror fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mirror checks a leg kick nicely.
Mirror connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McFinnigan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
McFinnigan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mirror.
Mirror sizes up McFinnigan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Mirror slips under a jab.
Mirror fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but McFinnigan is out of range.
Mirror defending well as McFinnigan loads up on a big left hand.
McFinnigan throws a low kick but Mirror moves out of range easily.
Mirror throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McFinnigan just misses with a punch to the body.
Mirror looks to score with a jab to the body but McFinnigan is just out of range.
Good standup being displayed there by McFinnigan as he connects with a hook.
Mirror will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
McFinnigan missing with a left hand there. Mirror was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McFinnigan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mirror.
McFinnigan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mirror misses with a body shot.
McFinnigan misses with a looping left.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mirror! But no joy.
Mirror avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McFinnigan scoring well with a low kick there.
McFinnigan clobbers Mirror with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mirror ducks under a wild hook from McFinnigan.
Mirror takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fullsize Mirror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McFinnigan moves out of range of the leg kick from Mirror.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mirror connects with an inside leg kick.
Mirror fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McFinnigan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mirror swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mirror misses the shot to the body.
A quick step to the side and McFinnigan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mirror waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McFinnigan.
Mirror fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
McFinnigan throws a low kick but Mirror moves out of range easily.
Mirror throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McFinnigan misses with a wild body shot.
Mirror turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McFinnigan moves away from the strike by Mirror.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A slow jab from Mirror misses its intended target.
McFinnigan moves out of range of the leg kick from Mirror.
Mirror throws a right hand that misses
and McFinnigan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mirror is looking to chop away at McFinnigan's legs.
McFinnigan throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mirror tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McFinnigan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Crunch! McFinnigan slams his shin into Mirror's torso.
Mirror moves out of range as McFinnigan strikes.
McFinnigan moves away from the strike by Mirror.
Mirror lands with a nice body punch.
Mirror lands the left hand.


It looks like Mickey McFinnigan has been cut.
McFinnigan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mirror needs to keep his hands up - McFinnigan had a free shot at his head there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mirror throws a push kick but McFinnigan slaps the foot to one side.
McFinnigan avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
It looked like McFinnigan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
McFinnigan sizes up Mirror with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


Mirror is rocked!
Mirror tries to get into range but McFinnigan steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Mirror! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! McFinnigan scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mickey McFinnigan!
During a confident post fight interview, Mickey McFinnigan thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
