Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nem Sis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sis's entrance music is Tsunami. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nem Sis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Allen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen drops his hands momentarily and Sis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Sis lands with a nice body kick.
Allen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Sis lands with a thumping leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Allen.
Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sis.
Sis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Allen counters with a good low kick that Sis was not able to check.
Allen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sis takes one to the chin there.
Sis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sis moves out of range as Allen throws a body kick.
Sis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Allen's waist but Allen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sis off to one side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Sis counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sis is looking to stall here but Allen recovers full guard.

Sis postures up in Allen's guard and throws a big left but Allen blocks it.
Sis trying to control the position from guard on top but Allen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sis is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Allen still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Allen has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Sis is looking for a sweep.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sis is trying to improve his position.
Allen trying to control the position but Sis is working away.
Sis manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Sis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Allen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sis looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Allen is in trouble now - Sis has advanced to mount!

Sis tries to control but Allen wriggling away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sis throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Allen tries to hold on but Sis pushes him away.
Allen is trying to escape the mount.
Sis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Allen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Allen keeps control of the position for the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nem Sis dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Allen lands with an uppercut that bounces Sis off the cage and back into range.

and Allen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Allen avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Sis backing away here, and Allen unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sis. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Allen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Allen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sis.

Barry Allen seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Allen catches Sis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sis. Allen does a little dance to reset his feet.
Allen thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sis if he has to take too many more of those.
Allen throws a hook but Sis blocks it.

Allen connects with an inside leg kick.
Sis gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Allen.
Allen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sis.
Allen missing with a left hand there. Sis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Allen at a distance.

Allen moves out of range as Sis throws a body kick.
Allen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sis at a distance.
Sis takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Allen connects with the punch.
Sis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Allen works the jab nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Allens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Sis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Allen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sis takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Allen ducks under a wild hook from Sis.
Allen scores with a punch to the head.
Sis is looking to wear down Allen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Sis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Allen was well out of range. Poor timing from Sis.
Allen is looking for the big counter here.
Sis throws out a loose jab but Allen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sis thows a left - swing and a miss!
Allen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Sis slips a straight right by Allen.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sis.
Allen connects with a single shot there.
Allen throws a jab but it's blocked by Sis.
Sis throwing a counter right hand but Allen manages to avoid it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Allen.
Sis moves out of range as Allen strikes.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sis went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Allen is looking to chop away at Sis's legs.

Allen scores with a leg kick.
Allen avoids the head kick by Sis.
Sis attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen.
Allen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sis under the eye.
A cross from Sis lands.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Allen enables Sis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Allen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sis wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.

Allen controls Sis momentarily but Sis frees himself.

Sis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barry Allen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Sis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Allen scores with the left hand. Sis knows he should have avoided that one.
Sis tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Sis looks for a takedown but Allen sprawls well.
Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Sis is just out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Allen is fending him off so far but Sis persists. Nope, Allen circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Allen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Allen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sis's hands.
Allen throws a leg kick but Sis checks it.
Sis changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Allen throws a hook to the side of Sis's head but Sis sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Allen is looking to slow Sis down with leg kicks.
Allen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Siss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Allen.
Allen lands a head kick. Sis smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


Sis is rocked!
Sis jabs Allen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Sis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Allen drops Sis with a straight right hand, right on the button! Allen follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Barry Allen!
Barry Allen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
