Axe comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Hoi.
Axe wants to clinch up but Hoi keeps it at a distance.
Hoi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at aLion's MMA in the buildup to the fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hoi. Axe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Axe lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fabian Hoi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Axe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hoi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
