The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viceroy scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Jabari Jelani has been cut.
Viceroy misses with a wild combination.
Viceroy throws a nice looking combination but Jelani bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Viceroy lands a lovely overhand right.

Jelani feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Viceroy holds on and takes a little breather.
Jelani pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Viceroy is keeping the position for now.
Jelani is standing up over Viceroy. Viceroy looks to escape but Jelani dives into side control.
Viceroy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jelani has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Jelani tries for a kimura but Viceroy is defending well.

Jelani goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Viceroy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jelani's guard! Nice work there by Viceroy!

Jelani might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Viceroy is working Jelani over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Viceroy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jelani with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
