Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen I Am The Law as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bender lands a nice looking body shot.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bender sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've been hearing reports that Bender has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Bender darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage.

Smith doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Bender is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
Smith moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Bender keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A head kick by Bender misses
and Smith counters with an outside leg kick.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bender throws out the jab.
Smith lands a nice hook to Bender's body. Bender takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bender throws a body shot but no joy.
Smith works the jab nicely.

It looks like Blake Bender has been cut.
Bender keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bender thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bender misses with a body shot.
Smith stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bender misses with a looping left.
Bender is looking to chop away at Smith's legs.
Bender uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Bender throwing a counter right hand but Smith manages to avoid it.
Bender swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Bender blocks a jab.
Smith lands with a shot to the body.
Bender tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bender fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Smith cracks Bender with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bender looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?
Bender is rocked!
Smith moves out of range of the strikes.
Oh Bender is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bender throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith moves into range and clinches up with Bender.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith flashes Bender a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Bender's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Bender crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Smith punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
