Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takemura shoots in looking for a takedown. Okunaba tries to sprawl out of it but Takemura keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Okunaba manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Okunaba thuds a left hand into Takemura's body.

and Okunaba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Okunaba lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takemura throws out a loose jab but Okunaba uses good head movement to avoid it.
Okunaba misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Takemura fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Okunaba avoids it really well and circles away.

Takemura stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Okunaba.
Okunaba is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Takemura can do to turn this around?
Takemura on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Okunaba gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Takemura to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Takemura is looking to work some ground and pound but Okunaba has wrist control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Okunaba has his foot on Takemura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Takemura works his way back into a safe position though.
Okkuke Jiizu Okunaba overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Takemura slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Okunaba is trying to control Takemura's posture but Takemura avoids it.
Takemura lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Okunaba down.

Okunaba wants to control but Takemura is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Takemura throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Okunaba to regain full guard.
Takemura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Takemura has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Okunaba to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Takemura is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Okunaba pulls down on the head and he's put Takemura to sleep! This one is all over!
