Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stephane Ouellet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephane Ouellet could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hulk Kelly's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephane Ouellet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hulk Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kelly.
Ouellet jabs Kelly right on the nose. Kelly blinks but takes it well.
Kelly takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kelly tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ouellet defends well and Kelly ends up having to push Ouellet into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ouellet bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ouellet cracks Kelly with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ouellet feints a jab promting Kelly to slip. Ouellet then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kelly slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ouellet wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kelly has him pressed against the cage.

Kelly shoots in looking for a takedown but Ouellet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kelly's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ouellet is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Kelly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ouellet's waist but Ouellet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kelly off to one side.

Kelly with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ouellet to score with a decent uppercut.

Ouellet lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kelly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kelly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ouellet decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kelly, up you get!

Ouellet feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kellys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kelly with the counter takedown but Ouellet avoids it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kelly enables Ouellet to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kelly manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ouellet drives through with a takedown into Kelly's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ouellet will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kelly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stephane Ouellet.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ouellet, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
