The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Haschwalth sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Haschwalth could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Haschwalth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Haschwalth enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Haschwalth manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones is fighting to break Haschwalth's control of his arms but Haschwalth is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haschwalth circles away quickly and effectively.
Haschwalth lands a jab to Jones's midsection.
