Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sang Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Pilon Morse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sang Burns has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sang Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Pilon Morse!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilon Morse shoots in and drives through. Burns sprawls well.

Pilon Morse shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Pilon Morse trying to control the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pilon Morse lands a nice short elbow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pilon Morse wants to work for an arm triangle but Burns is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Pilon Morse is taking a breather. Burns says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Pilon Morse stops Burns from getting back to his feet.

Pilon Morse is trying to control the action in half guard but Burns is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Burns keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Burns keeping moving, preventing Pilon Morse from controlling successfully.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Burns is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Burns cracks a nice hook into Pilon Morse's ribs.
Pilon Morse fails with the takedown
and Burns counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Pilon Morse has his takedown stuffed
and Burns counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sang Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Pilon Morse.

Pilon Morse decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pilon Morse is thwarting Burns's attempts to control the position.
Pilon Morse is trying to control. Burns wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Burns is looking to escape.
Pilon Morse missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Burns is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pilon Morse is thwarting Burns's attempts to control the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pilon Morse tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burns knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Burns stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burns wants it to stay on the feet.
Pilon Morse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pilon Morse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Burns's guard.
Burns not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Burns looking for a sweep. Not yet Burns, not yet.
Burns striking off his back but it's not causing Pilon Morse any problems.
Burns keeping moving, preventing Pilon Morse from controlling successfully.

Pilon Morse gets to his feet - Burns follows without any prompting.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Pilon Morse is trying hard to land a takedown here. Burns sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pilon Morse misses with a takedown
and Burns counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pilon Morse thinking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Pilon Morse dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Burns forces Pilon Morse back against the cage and clinches.
Pilon Morse avoiding damage as Burns throws knees to the body.

Pilon Morse breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pilon Morse lands a nice looking kick to the body. Burns takes a step back to recover.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pilon Morse paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice side step and Pilon Morse releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Burns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pilon Morse shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Burns manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Burns throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pilon Morse lands a couple of elbows.
Pilon Morse sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Burns's guard.
Burns wants to get back to his feet.

Pilon Morse stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Pilon Morse gets caught napping as Burns dives in and scores a takedown. Pilon Morse manages to retain guard.
Pilon Morse tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Burns trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pilon Morse's guard.
Pilon Morse working a defensive guard but Burns manages to pass into side control anyway.

Burns stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Burns shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pilon Morse sprawls well. Pilon Morse wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burns gets slowly back to his feet.
Pilon Morse is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Pilon Morse throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burns.

Pilon Morse closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pilon Morse lands in his opponent's guard.

Burns is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Pilon Morse is looking to take a break and control but Burns is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pilon Morse tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burns is trying to control Pilon Morse's posture but Pilon Morse avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ryan Pilon Morse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Pilon Morse shoots in for a double leg but Burns sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Pilon Morse drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Burns is trying to keep Pilon Morse in close.
Burns wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pilon Morse is now in half guard.

Burns doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Burns throws a head punch that misses.

Burns scores with a hook to the body.

Pilon Morse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ryan Pilon Morse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pilon Morse pivots, looking for a leg kick but Burns is out of range and Pilon Morse settles back down.
Burns throws a big counter combination but Pilon Morse scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Pilon Morse moves into the clinch.
Pilon Morse is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Pilon Morse has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Burns after a bit of a struggle.
Burns tries to pull guard but Pilon Morse forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Pilon Morse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Pilon Morse has a closed guard, preventing Burns from standing up.
Burns is looking to work some ground and pound but Pilon Morse has wrist control.

Pilon Morse has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Burns has passed into side control.
Pilon Morse tries to escape but Burns is in control.

Burns decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Pilon Morse tries for a takedown but Burns sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sang Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Pilon Morse.
Burns clobbers Pilon Morse with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Burns throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Pilon Morse gets a clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Burns obliges.
Pilon Morse has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Burns avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Burns jumps guard but Pilon Morse stands there with Burns around his waist. Burns gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Burns creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Pilon Morse ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pilon Morse no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burns works over Pilon Morse with some ground and pound from guard.
Pilon Morse is trying to keep Burns in close.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Burns wants to stand but Pilon Morse has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Pilon Morse has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Burns avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pilon Morse is looking to stand up but Burns isn't so interested in that idea.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Burns is looking to stand up but Pilon Morse won't let him.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Ryan Pilon Morse comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Pilon Morse winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
