Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Calvancante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jienaro Marfil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marfil is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by New Divide. Jienaro Marfil will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mauricio Calvancante!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jienaro Marfil!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Calvancante.
Marfil cracks a nice hook into Calvancante's ribs.
Marfil lands a left and a right that send Calvancante crashing to the mat, dazed. Marfil thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Calvancante throws a wild hook but Marfil just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Calvancante gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Marfil raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jienaro Marfil!
Jienaro Marfil decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
