Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchel Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Thompson's choice of entrance music: Smashing pumpkins - Disarm. Mitchel Thompson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vega.
Vega swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Thompson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thompson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Vega wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thompson is looking to break free of the clinch but Vega has double underhooks.

Thompson lands a left and a right that send Vega crashing to the mat, dazed. Thompson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mitchel Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh Vega is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thompson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vega right on the button. Vega goes down! Thompson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Thompson gets the win via TKO!
