The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barishkov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Britton is trying to defend but Barishkov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Britton drops Barishkov with a right and a left! Britton comes rushing in but Barishkov regains his composure and manages to keep Britton in guard.

It looks like Krug Barishkov has been cut.
Britton wants to stand but Barishkov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Britton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Barishkov wants to sweep here but Britton controlling him for the moment.
Britton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Britton loads up on a big left hand. Barishkov felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Britton looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Barishkov can't hide his disappointment, as Britton celebrates the victory.
