The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Hill.
Asikainen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hill.
A combination from Hill does no damage.

Asikainen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Asikainen is trying to break the clinch but Hill is controlling him.

Hill throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Asikainen blocks it with crossed arms.
Hill has Asikainen pressed against the cage, preventing Asikainen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Asikainen wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hill could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hill throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hill lands a knee to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hill stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Asikainen blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hill cracks Asikainen with a nice body shot.
Asikainen takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Vesa Asikainen has been cut.
Hill lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Hill digs a right hand into Asikainen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Asikainen's gas tank.

Still in the clinch, Hill scores with a nice short uppercut.

Asikainen misses with an elbow over the top.
Hill using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Asikainen has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The crowd are calling 'kneeees!' as Hill has the Thai clinch. Hill obliges, smashing a knee brutally into Asikainen's nose and sending him crashing to the canvas! Will be beat the count?! 3,4,5,6,7,8...9... and he's up on 9! Wow, that was close! The referee takes a long look and is going to allow it to continue!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Asikainen takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Hill grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Asikainen takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Hill cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
