Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blind Shaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaman comes into the arena with Showdown blaring out of the sound system. Bishop has chosen KRS-One - MC's Act Like They Don't Know as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Shaman attempts a counter takedown but Bishop avoids it well and moves away.
Shaman throws a hook to the side of Bishop's head but Bishop sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bishop throws a series of punches but Shaman moves out of range.
Bishop avoids the body shot from Shaman.
Shaman moves out of range of the body kick from Bishop.
Shaman connects with a looping right hand.
A jab from Shaman misses.
Bishop tries to land a front kick but Shaman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bishop walks into a stiff left hand from Shaman.
Bishop throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Bishop walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shaman.
Bishop moves away from the strike by Shaman.
Bishop throws a sloppy head kick and Shaman moves out of range easily.
Shaman seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bishop on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shaman. Shaman obviously looking to wear him down.
Bishop shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Shaman misses with a lunging right hand
and Bishop counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaman throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Bishop makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shaman misses with a body shot.
Bishop swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shaman.
Bishop defending well as Shaman loads up on a big left hand.
Bishop instigates a clinch.
Bishop lands a body punch.
Shaman lands a body shot.
A right handed body shot lands from Bishop.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bishop takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Shaman lands with a light punch inside.
Bishop lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Shaman gets through Bishop's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Shaman pushes Bishop back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bishop tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Shaman lands a body shot.
A shot in the inside from Bishop.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shaman misses with the head strike.

It looks like Xavier Bishop has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shaman is trying to pull guard but Bishop has him pressed against the cage.
Bishop lands a nice shot to the body.
Bishop scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bishop has a couple of punches blocked by Shaman.
Shaman trying to land knees to the body.
Shaman misses with a hook to the ribs.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Shaman throws an elbow that misses.
Shaman decides to pull guard.
Bishop controlling from the top position.
Bishop is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shaman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bishop is looking to defend but Shaman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bishop! Shaman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bishop taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Blind Shaman!
After winning the bout, Blind Shaman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Xavier Bishop stepped up to the mic, saying 'Ogun will punish me severely for this loss!'.
