Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Casacci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Tickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casacci comes to the cage accompanied by Serpente by SUBSONICA. Will Tickel will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Casacci!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Tickel!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tickel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Casacci is trying to defend but Tickel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Casacci is trying is best to control the position here.

Tickel is working for a submission of some sort.
Tickel not doing much here.

Tickel wants to work for an arm triangle but Casacci is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Casacci is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Casacci has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tickel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Casacci does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Tickel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Casacci with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tickel has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Casacci.
Tickel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Casacci connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tickel scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tickel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Casacci ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Casacci will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Tickel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Casacci is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
