Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Second Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blood!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Fist.
Fist definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fist scores with a three punch combo!
Fist pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fist rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blood moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A swing and a miss from Blood.
Blood shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fist misses with a straight left.
Blood changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Blood shoots in for a takedown but Fist shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fist shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Blood eats them both and turns towards Fist to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fist misses with a straight right.
Fist misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blood.
Blood ducks under a wild hook from Fist.
Blood uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fist.
Blood with the counter takedown but Fist avoids it easily.

Fist looks to score with a jab to the body but Blood is just out of range.
Blood avoids the body shot from Fist.
Blood takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Fist gets caught flat footed, as Blood shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Blood tries to free his leg and advance position but Fist is retaining full guard.
Fist keeping moving, preventing Blood from controlling successfully.
Fist on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fist tries to get out of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Blood keeps trying to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fist lands with a right hand.
Fist misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fist ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blood ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Blood tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fist lands a left and a right that send Blood crashing to the mat, dazed. Fist thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Richard Blood has been cut.

Fist throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Blood counters with a shoot takedown. Fist fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Blood stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fist swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Blood has gone for a leg lock! Fist slips out almost immediately though and dives into Blood's guard.

Blood not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Blood tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fist trying to control the position from guard on top but Blood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fist postures up.
Blood is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Blood has Fist pulled in close to control his posture.
Blood is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fist lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Second Fist dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Richard Blood's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Good exchange - Fist coming out on top.
Blood takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fist throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Second Fist is winning the standup battle so far.
Fist leaves Blood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Second Fist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fist looks to throw the jab but Blood is out of range.
Fist looks to land a combination but Blood avoids it well.
Blood is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Blood misses with a takedown attempt - Fist sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fist uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fist blocks a head kick by Blood.

Fist scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fist displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blood.
Second Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Blood.
Fist lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Blood at a distance.
Blood is breathing heavily.
Fist throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fist jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Blood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fist to score with a decent uppercut.


Blood is rocked!
Blood tries to get into range but Fist steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Blood! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Fist scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Second Fist!
Second Fist decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
