Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Percy Sinclair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Percy Sinclair will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Filiberto Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Percy Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sinclair pushes Cooper up against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Sinclair.
Sinclair is trying to drag Cooper to the mat but Cooper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Sinclair pulls guard effortlessly.
Sinclair has control of Cooper's left arm, preventing Cooper from doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sinclair bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cooper's guard.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Sinclair stands and throws Cooper's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Sinclair moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Sinclair decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Sinclair works over Cooper's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Filiberto Cooper has been cut.
Sinclair looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sinclair drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Cooper manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cooper punching from the bottom.
Sinclair stalling.
Cooper tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cooper is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.

Cooper swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

Sinclair is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cooper can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Cooper wants to try and get back to his feet.
Cooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sinclair sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Cooper is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cooper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sinclair on the ground.

Sinclair throwing strikes here but Cooper is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Sinclair is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cooper has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cooper avoids a series of strikes thrown by Sinclair.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Sinclair.
Sinclair is staying tight to Cooper's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Cooper wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Sinclair works to advance to full mount. Cooper defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Cooper tries to hold on but Sinclair pushes him away.
Sinclair tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Cooper is arching his back trying to strike from the bottom but Sinclair turns him over and now has his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cooper trying to get back to his feet but Sinclair is in full control for now.
Sinclair has the hooks in. Cooper is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Sinclair really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cooper.
Cooper trying to control the hands but Sinclair won't let him.
Cooper wants to get back to his feet.

Cooper is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Sinclair thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Even with his hooks in, Sinclair manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Let's hope that Sinclair has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Cooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cooper trying to control the action but Sinclair just sinks the hooks in.
Cooper can't escape the position.
Sinclair gets his hands free as Cooper looks to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cooper is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sinclair gets his way!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Cooper drops his hands momentarily and Sinclair takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Cooper tries to keep at a distance but Sinclair has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sinclair shoots in for a double leg but Cooper sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Filiberto Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Percy Sinclair.

Sinclair drives through and clinches with Cooper against the cage.
Sinclair will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cooper up against the cage.

Sinclair escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sinclair will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cooper feinted with a counter takedown.
Sinclair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cooper throws a big shot that misses.
Sinclair tries to counter with a clinch but Cooper shakes him off and moves away.
Sinclair shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cooper sprawls well. Cooper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sinclair gets slowly back to his feet.

and Cooper counters with a straight right hand.
Sinclair takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Sinclair pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cooper back to the cage. Sinclair follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cooper shoots in for a takedown but Sinclair shows good takedown defense.
Sinclair wants to counter with a clinch but Cooper pushes him away.
Sinclair fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cooper avoids it really well and circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sinclair is defended easily by Cooper.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cooper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sinclair swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sinclair throws a head kick that misses.
Sinclair has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cooper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sinclair - the referee stops the clock and Cooper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sinclair. Cooper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sinclair is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Sinclair closes the distance and clinches.
Filiberto Cooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Percy Sinclair is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cooper has Sinclair pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sinclair manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Percy Sinclair comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sinclair has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
