Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Oneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keller has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jim Keller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneil pivots, looking for a leg kick but Keller is out of range and Oneil settles back down.
As Oneil tries to get set, Keller tries to push him back and clinch up but Oneil manages to avoid the attempt.
Oneil scores with a sloppy right hand. Keller should have avoided that one.
Keller takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Horrible takedown attempt by Keller or perhaps it was just good defense by Oneil, which made it look bad.
Keller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Keller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Oneil moves into the clinch.
Oneil lands a hook that snaps the head of Keller backwards.
Oneil tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Keller's elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Oneil's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oneil fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Oneil lands a glancing blow to the side of Keller's head.
Oneil cracks Keller with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oneil throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Oneil catches Keller with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Oneil has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Oneil throws a low kick but it's checked well by Keller.
Keller is looking for a counter combo.
Oneil gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Keller wants to clinch up but Oneil keeps it at a distance.

Oneil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Keller moves away.
Oneil cracks a nice hook into Keller's ribs.
Keller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jim Keller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A nice left hand lands by Oneil.
Oneil tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Keller's elbow.
Oneil lands a hook that snaps the head of Keller backwards.
Oneil can't find room to land a body shot as Keller controls the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oneil is looking to get back to his feet here but Keller is keeping cool and he's managed to take Oneil's back.

Keller is looking for the choke from the back position but Oneil is controlling his hands well.

Keller is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Oneil has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Oneil has hold of Keller's leg, trying to break free but it's let Keller lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Oneil is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Keller throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
