The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fresh bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Macias wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Fresh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Macias keeps working.
Fresh working away.
Fresh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Macias, who protects the arm well.
Macias is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macias is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fresh has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Macias knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fresh on the ground.

Fresh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Macias keeps working.
Fresh prevents Macias from escaping the position.
Fresh lands a decent elbow from side control.
Fresh staying calm.
Macias wants to get back to his feet but Fresh drags him back down.
Fresh trying to control the action but Macias is working from the bottom.
Fresh working the ground and pound from side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fresh working the body and head with strikes.
Fresh moves into full mount!
Macias really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fresh is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Macias is surviving well by controlling Fresh's body position as best he can.
Macias in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Fresh throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Fresh trying to control but Macias is having none of it.

Fresh is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fresh extends the arm and Macias is forced to tap!
