PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shovel Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knight comes to the ring accompanied by Shovel Knight. Saint James told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight circles away from the clinch attempt
and Knight counters with a thumping low kick.

James tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Knight counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
James takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
James takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
James closes the distance looking to clinch
and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - James has eaten all the pies!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knight thuds his shin into the meat of James's side.
James looks winded!

Knight lands a big right hand that sends James crashing to the mat! Knight stays standing though and waves James back to his feet!

James is rocked!
Knight feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to James's calf.
James is still on wobbly legs! Can Knight finish him?
James closes the distance looking to clinch
and Knight counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
