Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dont Trip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Troy Malo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trip goes for a double leg but Malo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Malo continues to drive forward.
Malo tries to clinch but Trip moves out of range.

Malo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Trip gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Malo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Trip has his foot on Malo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Malo works his way back into a safe position though.
Trip might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Trip is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Malo can't fight it off and eventually Trip manages to take the fight to the floor. Malo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Trip stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Malo throws a combination. Trip tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trip.
Malo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Trip tries to close the distance and clinch but Malo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Trip avoids the head kick by Malo.

No joy there for Malo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trip drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Malo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dont Trip. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Malo tries to pull guard but Trip holds him up against the cage and eventually Malo drops back down to his feet.

Malo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Malo duly obliges.
Malo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Trip avoids a punch combination nicely.

Trip closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Malo quickly recovers to half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trip connects with a nice short shot to Malo's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dont Trip overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Trip tries to close the distance and clinch up but Malo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Malo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Trip has time to react.

Malo is nestled in close to Trip, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
