Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juanito Centurion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gil Jacobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacobson has chosen Over, Under, Sideways, Down as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Centurion tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacobson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Centurion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jacobson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Centurion misses with a body punch
enabling Jacobson to counter with a crisp jab.
Centurion shoots in looking for a takedown but Jacobson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Centurion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jacobson loads up on a big right hand but Centurion slips the punch.

and Jacobson counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Juanito Centurion has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juanito Centurion. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jacobson throws a hook but Centurion blocks it.
Jacobson is looking to clinch but Centurion is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jacobson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jacobson closes the distance and clinches.
A frustrated look appears on Jacobson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jacobson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Centurion can't find room to land a body shot as Jacobson controls the action.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Centurion pulls guard effortlessly.
Jacobson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Centurion has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jacobson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
