The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiebknecht misses with a wild body shot.
Smith lands a nice shot that snaps Hiebknecht's head back.
Hiebknecht avoids the body shot from Smith.
Hiebknecht lands with an overhand left.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Hiebknecht, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Hiebknecht against the cage but Hiebknecht circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hiebknecht throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hiebknecht defends well and Smith ends up having to push Hiebknecht into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hiebknecht defends it nicely.
Hiebknecht half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Smith looks to land a left hand but Hiebknecht moved out of range nicely.
Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hiebknecht's waist but Hiebknecht gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.
Hiebknecht throws an overhand right that has Smith reeling! Hiebknecht follows up with more punches and Smith is out cold! This one is all over!
