Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Rousey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rousey comes to the cage accompanied by Creepy Jackalope Eye by Supersuckers. The crowd seem to be enjoying Couture's choice of entrance music: Mama said knock you out. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rousey sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rousey attempts a counter takedown but Couture avoids it well and moves away.
Rousey takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Ronald Rousey has been cut.
Couture drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rousey lands with a straight right. Couture didn't see that one coming.
Rousey lands with a cross.
Rousey lands with a thumping leg kick.
Couture on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Rousey has been working on his balance at ~T~ Troid - Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Couture.

Couture throws a hook to the side of Rousey's head but Rousey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rousey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Couture is trying to defend but Rousey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rousey wants to take a breather but Couture is having none of it.

Couture throws a big shot that misses.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Couture! But no joy.
Couture lands with a kick to the temple. Rousey shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Couture misses with an uppercut. Rousey saw that one coming.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rousey.
Rousey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rousey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Couture looks to throw the jab but Rousey is out of range.
Brandon Couture is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Couture misses the jab.
Couture has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Rousey.
Rousey misses with a hook. Couture ducked under it nicely.
Rousey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Couture on the side of the head.
Rousey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Couture on the side of the head.
Couture throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rousey staying out of range there.
Couture scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rousey in his tracks.
Rousey misses with an uppercut. Couture saw that one coming.
Rousey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rousey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Couture throws out the jab.
Couture lands a jab to the head.

Rousey avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Rousey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Couture might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Rousey misses the jab.
Rousey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rousey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Couture to the ground. Rousey is now in Couture's guard.
Rousey slips nicely into half guard.
Couture is in trouble now - Rousey has advanced to mount!
You get the feeling that Couture really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Rousey scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Couture squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rousey throws a series of punches but Couture avoids them all with ease.
Couture looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A swing and a miss from Couture.
Brandon Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Couture connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rousey's hands.
Rousey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Couture throws out the jab.

Couture cracks Rousey with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rousey looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Couture finish him?
Rousey is rocked!
Rousey tries to get into range but Couture steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Rousey! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Couture scores the big KO victory!
