Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaka Pheu Pheu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiichi Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Kaka Pheu Pheu!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keiichi Yamada!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yamada throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pheu Pheu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yamada is in Pheu Pheu's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Yamada won't allow Pheu Pheu to sweep him here.

Pheu Pheu controls Yamada momentarily but Yamada frees himself.

Yamada tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pheu Pheu defends well and Yamada ends up having to push Pheu Pheu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Yamada seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pheu Pheu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kaka Pheu Pheu will probably get the nod.

Yamada shoots in for a double leg but Pheu Pheu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pheu Pheu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
