Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emil Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enzo Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Enzo Roc looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Enzo Roc!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc throws a body punch but Hooper moves out of range.
No joy there for Roc, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hooper tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Roc manages to circle out of the way.
Roc tries to land a front kick but Hooper steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Enzo Roc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hooper.
Hooper blocks a low kick nicely.
Hooper is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Roc.

Hooper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Roc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hooper lands a nice short elbow.
Hooper is keen to just control but Roc is a slippery customer.
Hooper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hooper shoots in looking for a takedown. Roc tries to sprawl out of it but Hooper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hooper is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Roc frees his head nicely. Oh but Hooper has switched to an armbar! Roc is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
