Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Rogan scores with a four punch combination!
Gilbert takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rogan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rogan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rogan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gilbert sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gilbert has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Rogan works over Gilbert's head and body with a nice combination.
Rogan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gilbert moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogan throws a series of punches but Gilbert avoids them all with ease.
Gilbert attempts a counter takedown but Rogan avoids it well and moves away.
Rogan fails to land with a series of punches.
Gilbert tries to counter with a takedown but Rogan is quick to defend against it.
Rogan takes a swing at Gilbert's ribcage but misses.
Gilbert takes one on the button.
Rogan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rogan stuffs the takedown.

Gilbert shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Gilbert drops back looking for a leg! Rogan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rogan manages to kick Gilbert off! Gilbert jumps back into Rogan's guard.
Rogan controls Gilbert momentarily but Gilbert frees himself.
Gilbert forces his way into half guard.
Rogan is looking to improve his position.
Rogan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Rogan looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gilbert is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rogan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gilbert.

Rogan is positioning himself well to prevent Gilbert advancing to mount.

Gilbert is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rogan has managed to free his arm - good work.
Rogan holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Rogan is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Gilbert postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gilbert is fighting to break Rogan's control of his arms but Rogan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Gilbert drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gilbert seems to have locked his on tight now - Rogan screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gilbert, as he picks up the win!
