Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poe has chosen How it is done as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe looks to throw the jab but Owens is out of range.
Owens shoots in looking for a takedown but Poe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Owens's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Poe! But no joy.
Owens throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Poe sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Poe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Poe comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
We've been hearing reports that Owens has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Poe is pressed up against the cage. Owens has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Poe down to the mat. Poe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Poe pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Oh Owens is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Owens seems to have got his legs back now.
Owens is trying to drag Poe to the mat but Poe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Poe lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Owens.

Poe has Owens pressed against the cage. He pushes Owens back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Poe throws a beautiful elbow that sends Owens crashing to the floor! Poe piles on the pressure with more strikes! Owens is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
