Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Grease Lighting!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatton throws a good cross that connects.

Lighting's coach down at MMA Sanok Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lighting's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Fatton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fatton tries to get out of the position.

Lighting is fighting to break Fatton's control of his arms but Fatton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Fatton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fatton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lighting with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Lighting is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fatton.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lighting connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Fatton momentarily.

Lighting takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Fatton counters with a left and a right... And another left! Lighting is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
