The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gennero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gennero moves out of range as Funk throws a body kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Gennero as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Phat Funk has been cut.
Funk is looking to clinch but Gennero is avoiding it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Funk.
Gennero scores with a punch to the head.
Funk takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Funk looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gennero steps in with a hook that catches Funk right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gennero follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Funk looks absolutely devastated.
