Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 101 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frito Lei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 15 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lei tries to clinch up
and Summers counters with an inside leg kick.
Lei is looking to clinch but Summers is avoiding it.
Lei attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Lei closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lei is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Lei doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Lei looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Summers blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lei wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lei can't break the clinch.
Lei misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Summers wants a takedown.
Summers is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lei is defending well.
Frito Lei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Summers.

Summers has picked Lei up - he's going for a ride! Summers dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Lei wants to get back to his feet.

Summers seems to be working for a kimura but Lei defends the submission attempt.

Summers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Summers is nestled in close to Lei, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Summers lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Summers winds up and cracks Lei with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Summers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dylan Summers has got the better of the ground game so far.
Summers's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Summers stands up over Lei, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Summers has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Summers with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Summers gets to his feet and stands over Lei, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lei felt that one! Summers unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lei from any more punishment!
