Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Opdauhl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Opdauhl's choice of entrance music: Ludacris-Get Back. Terry Opdauhl told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Opdauhl throws out a counter right but Wayne avoids it with no problem.
Bruce Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wayne moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Bruce Wayne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Opdauhl displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wayne throws out the jab.
Opdauhl throws a chopping leg kick but Wayne manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
It appears Wayne was looking to counter with a kick there.
Nice uppercut lands for Wayne. That snapped Opdauhl's head back.

Wayne throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Opdauhl stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Opdauhl was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne.

We've been told by Wayne's head coaches at The Barracks - LOD that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Terry Opdauhl's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wayne lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Opdauhl circles away quickly and effectively.
Opdauhl looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Opdauhl's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wayne connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Opdauhl scrambles back to his feet.

Wayne is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Opdauhl can do to turn this around?
