Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Tsoi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Floyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tsoi comes to the cage accompanied by Zvezda po Imeni Solnce. John Floyd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsoi throws a leg kick but Floyd sees it coming and moves out of range.
Floyd throws a low kick but it's checked well by Tsoi.
It looked like Tsoi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Floyd.
Tsoi lands a lovely overhand right.
The fighters circling - Tsoi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Floyd lands an overhand right.
A head kick misses from Floyd.
Floyd throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Floyd moves out of range as Tsoi throws a body kick.
Tsoi backing away here, and Floyd unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Floyd jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Floyd lands a nice looking body kick.

Floyd just misses with a punch to the body.
Tsoi lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tsoi tries to close the distance and clinch but Floyd swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Floyd now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Floyd jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tsoi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

and Tsoi counters with a stiff right hand.
Tsoi thuds his shin into the meat of Floyd's side.
Tsoi cracks the inside of Floyd's front leg.
Floyd keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tsoi.
Tsoi avoids the body shot from Floyd.
Tsoi misses the body punch
and Tsoi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Tsoi rushes Floyd and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Floyd can't find room to land a body shot as Tsoi controls the action.

Tsoi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Floyd lands with a right to the head.
Floyd doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Tsoi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tsoi lands a hook that snaps the head of Floyd backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Floyd is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Tsoi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Floyd frees his head nicely. Oh but Tsoi has switched to an armbar! Floyd is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
