Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuke Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schneider's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, What Would David Schneider Do?. Tuke Hong has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tuke Hong!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Hong. No joy for Schneider on that attempt.
Hong throws a jab when Schneider was well out of range.
Schneider tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hong was well out of range. Poor timing from Schneider.

Schneider misses with a takedown attempt - Hong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing reports that Schneider has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Schneider ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schneider no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hong takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Schneider changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hong fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Hong feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Schneiders jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Schneider tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hong smiles and moves away.

Hong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Schneider throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hong was covering up waiting for the punch and Schneider finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Schneider wants to control from the top but Hong keeps moving.
Hong wants to sweep here but Schneider controlling him for the moment.

Hong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schneider defends well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Schneider is really struggling to control Hong but he's trying to hold on to the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hong is on top in guard.

Hong keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Schneider's head.

Tuke Hong is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hong slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schneider throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hong escapes and throws Schneider's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Hong takes a little break here. Schneider wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
David Schneider has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Schneider tries to buck Hong off but Hong is having none of it.
Hong wants to control but Schneider is keeping him busy.
Hong might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Schneider haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tuke Hong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
