Burns comes into the arena with The End by the Doors blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Connor Mac Burns has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borowitz tries for a takedown but Burns circles away easily
and Borowitz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Connor Mac Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Borowitz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Burns.
Burns throws a nice looking combination but Borowitz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Borowitz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burns's waist but Burns gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Borowitz off to one side.

Borowitz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Borowitz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burns throws a shot to the body.
Burns lands a jab to the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Burns as he connects with a hook.
Borowitz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Borowitz doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Burns counters with a series of strikes. Borowitz will be more careful next time no doubt.
Connor Mac Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Borowitz.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Burns looking to score a takedown here. Borowitz is defending well but Burns drives through and ends up in Borowitz's guard.
Burns wants to control from the top but Borowitz keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Burns passes Borowitz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Burns prevents Borowitz from standing back up.
Burns uses his free foot to push down on Borowitz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Borowitz.
Burns is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Burns extends the arm and Borowitz is forced to tap!
