Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Lindsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dasha Karimov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lionel Lindsay has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lionel Lindsay seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindsay gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Karimov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lindsay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karimov manages to avoid it.
Karimov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Karimov connects with a solid leg kick.
Karimov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Karimov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Karimov throws a one two combo.
It looks like Lionel Lindsay has been cut.
Karimov scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Karimov misses with a low kick.
Lindsay blocks a head kick by Karimov.
Karimov throws a leg kick that is checked
and Lindsay decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Karimov's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindsay with a flurry of punches that miss.
Karimov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lindsay.
Lindsay drops back looking for a leg! Karimov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Karimov manages to kick Lindsay off! Lindsay jumps back into Karimov's guard.

Lindsay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Karimov wants to stand up but Lindsay is controlling him.
Lindsay drops back looking for a leg! Karimov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Karimov manages to kick Lindsay off! Lindsay jumps back into Karimov's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lindsay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lindsay throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Karimov avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lindsay has gone for a leg lock! Karimov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lindsay's guard.
Lindsay wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Karimov tries to stand but Lindsay is controlling from the bottom.
Lindsay looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karimov is one step ahead there.

Lindsay keeping full guard, as Karimov tries to pass.
Lindsay pulls Karimov in close to prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Karimov motions for Lindsay to come forward. Karimov throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lindsay half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Karimov throws a right hand that Lindsay ducks under and follows up with a left that Lindsay also avoids with ease.
Good leg kick by Karimov there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Karimov throws a lazy uppercut
and Lindsay counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lindsay is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Karimov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lionel Lindsay!
Lionel Lindsay really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that REAR NAKED CHOKE NUTRITION logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
