Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between John Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augustus Belmont (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belmont has chosen War Is My Destiny - Ill Bill Feat. Immortal Technique as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Kennedy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augustus Belmont!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Belmont has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Belmont connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kennedy momentarily.

enabling Belmont to counter with a crisp jab.
Kennedy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Belmont.

Belmont does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Belmont chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kennedy can pounce on him.

That was a close round but I would say that John Kennedy will probably get the nod.
