The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bergen rushes Rogers and presses him up against the cage.
Rogers wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bergen has him pressed against the cage.

Bergen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Rogers regains guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bergen postures up in Rogers's guard and throws a big left but Rogers blocks it.
Rogers might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rogers looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bergen has picked Rogers up and slammed him! Rogers can't keep hold of the triangle and Bergen manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
