Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Madhead Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power lands with a nice combination. Huber backs away looking to recover.
Huber paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Huber throws a hook but Power avoids it easily.
Hans Huber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Huber bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Power's head.

Power feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hubers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Power lands with a nice combination. Huber backs away looking to recover.
Power tries to clinch up but Huber circles away and keeps his distance.

Huber has Power up against the cage in a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Power tries to pull guard but Huber won't allow it.
Power has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Huber after a bit of a struggle.
Huber makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Huber connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Huber wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Power counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Power accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huber is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Power sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Huber's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Power is working for a kimura but Huber is defending it quite comfortably.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Huber can do anything to dispel that myth.

Huber really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Power. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Power slips a nice elbow through Huber's hands, connecting with Huber's forehead.
Huber tries to roll over but Power keeps him under control.
Power throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Power has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Power cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Huber is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Madhead Power overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Power cracks Huber with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Power fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Power has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Huber's face.

Huber buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Huber lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Power has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Power and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Huber fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Power has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
