Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Luca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelly Haynes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Luca.
Haynes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luca tries to avoid it but Haynes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luca to the ground. Luca escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Haynes shoots in but no luck this time.
As Haynes looks to move away, Luca throws a big counter combo bu Haynes just gets out of the way.
Luca tries a head kick but it misses.
Good work by Haynes as he checks the leg kick.
Haynes tries to close the distance and clinch but Luca swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Luca swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Haynes has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Luca is trying to keep an underhook but Haynes manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Haynes is stalling here. Luca is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Haynes seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Luca has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Haynes is trying to control Luca's posture but Luca avoids it.

Luca decides to stand up, so the ref orders Haynes to his feet.

Haynes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Luca tries to get to full guard but Haynes has control of the leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Luca wants to get back to his feet.

Haynes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Luca is just riding it out for now. Haynes eventually gives up the hold.

A relieved looking Johnny Luca thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Nelly Haynes stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm sorry I let down my fans, but I'm more sorry to the next guy I'm fighting cause I'ma bringing down the hell on him to make up for today'.
