Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Penny Eichmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rocky Theme - Gonna fly now. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eichmann's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Silva connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Eichmann scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Eichmann lands an impressive looking overhand right. Silva doesn't seem phased though.

Ivan Silva decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
