Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phuthong tries to work over Jones's front leg with a kick but Jones checks it.
Good leg kick by Jones there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones wants to free his trapped foot but Phuthong is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Phuthong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
Phuthong is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Jones is trying to defend against the choke here but Phuthong has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Phuthong Tightens the hold and Jones taps out furiously! Phuthong displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
