Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Schroeder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Schroeder acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Schroeder!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by White as he checks the leg kick.
White feinted with a counter takedown.
Schroeder loads up on a big right hand but White slips the punch.
Schroeder looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range.
White misses the shot to the body.
Schroeder uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


It looks like Frank White has been cut.
Schroeder looks for the body kick but White saw that one coming.
Schroeder swings away with a body shot that misses

and White counters by clinching up.
Schroeder tries to break free but White pushes him back against the cage.
Schroeder stops a takedown attempt from White.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

White breaks the clinch.
White dives in for a single leg takedown but Schroeder sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Schroeder swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Schroeder throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
White uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schroeder.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schroeder throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Schroeder misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schroeder swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
White appears to be looking for a big counter.
White shoots in looking for a takedown. Schroeder tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schroeder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank White. That's going to take a lot out of him.

White gets a takedown into half guard.
White wants to control but Schroeder is keeping him busy.
White prevents Schroeder from improving his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Schroeder won't allow White to pass to mount.
Schroeder wants to control but White is keeping busy and won't allow it.

White throwing shots but Schroeder is blocking nicely.
White sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Schroeder defending well though.
White is thwarting Schroeder's attempts to control the position.

White is trying to control. Schroeder wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

White thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Schroeder's head.
White wants to take a breather but Schroeder is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Schroeder lands a left and a right that send White crashing to the mat, dazed. Schroeder thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


White is rocked!
White doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh White is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Schroeder flashes White a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. White's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. White crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Schroeder punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brian Schroeder!
Our winner, Brian Schroeder, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
