The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crown.
Horrible takedown attempt by Crown or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuli, which made it look bad.
Oliver Crown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Kuli as Crown shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oliver Crown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Crown walks into a jab.
Kuli misses with a body shot.
Kuli misses with a wild body shot.
No luck for Crown with that takedown attempt.
Kuli throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Crown has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Crown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crown showed some decent athleticism there.
Kuli is looking to improve his position.
Kuli is doing well to control the position and prevent Crown from advancing to side control.
Crown moves nicely into side control.

Kuli takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kuli tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The strikes coming from Crown are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Crown lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kuli down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kuli sneaks back into half guard.
Crown wants to pass to mount but Kuli is defending the position.
Crown passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kuli!
Crown looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

It looks like Feta Kuli has been cut.
Crown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuli on the ground.

The referee warns Kuli that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The cut above Feta Kuli's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Feta Kuli's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
