The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayhem feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Verzosa sprawling to the canvas! Verzosa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mayhem finish him?!

It looks like Remedios Verzosa has been cut.

Verzosa is aggressively charging in as Mayhem backs up avoiding any damage. Mayhem tosses out a jab and Verzosa runs right into it face first! Verzosa is out cold! Mayhem dropped down on all fours and is barking in Verzosa's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
