The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Hardman lands a slapping body shot.
Hardman staying out of range there.
Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hardman connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Nathan Jones has been cut.
Oooooh!!! Hardman has knocked Jones down with a huge combo! Hardman steps away and waves a wobbly Jones back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones tries to keep at a distance but Hardman has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Hardman finish him?
Hardman dips a shoulder and cracks Jones with a mighty uppercut! Jones falls back against the cage and Hardman unloads with a barrage of strikes! Jones is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hardman screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Hardman!
